Bawiwew is a local boat diagnostic notebook. It does not create a user account and does not operate a Bawiwew server for your records.

What stays on the device

Vessel names, issue text, spoken transcripts, fault stills, live evidence frames, inspection marks, maintenance notes, binder pointers, Diagnostic Record Credit balances, and purchase records are stored in Bawiwew’s private storage on this iPhone. Camera, Photos, and Microphone access is requested only after you tap Start Video Check, Choose Fault Photo, Save Still to Photos, Speak Issue, Camera, or Album. Inspection ladders and archive packing run on this device.

What we do not do

Bawiwew does not sell personal information. It does not send issue text, stills, or spoken notes to any third-party diagnostic service. It does not use an advertising identifier to follow you across other companies’ apps or websites. Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt appears after Diagnose My Boat so you can set that system preference. Declining it does not block vessel setup, inspection, or saving a record.

Purchases

Optional Diagnostic Record Credit packs are sold as consumable In-App Purchases through Apple. Apple processes payment. Credits live on this device. They cannot be restored after you remove the app or use Erase All App Data.

Notifications

After the tracking prompt, Bawiwew may ask for permission to send local reminders. Bawiwew does not register this copy of the app for remote Apple Push tokens.

Clearing

Delete one record to remove that diagnostic and files that no other record uses. Erase All App Data removes projects, media, cache, purchase history, sample yard rows, and remaining credits, then returns you to first setup.
